ARDMORE, Okla. — The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation's Agricultural Division will host a Risk Management Seminar from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 26, at the Kruse Auditorium on the Noble Foundation's campus in Ardmore.

During the seminar, Noble Foundation agricultural economists will cover everything from basic terminology, such as 'break-even,' to implementing a market plan. Additional topics set for discussion include the futures market, livestock risk programs and hedging.

"This seminar is a basic class in risk management," said Steve Swigert, agricultural economist. "This seminar is timely. Price risk management is a key concept to understand because of market volatility. With our highly volatile markets, it's even more important."

Registration is $20 and the cost includes lunch. For additional information or to pre-register, please visit www.noble.org/agevents or call Tracy Cumbie at 580.224.6411. Preregistration is appreciated.
