The mission of Agricultural Research Team of the Noble Foundation's Agricultural Division is to conduct research to support the division's consultation program, and its assistance of producers and land stewards in attaining their individual production, financial, quality-of-life and stewardship goals. The team conducts research across five primary disciplines: agricultural economics, horticulture, livestock, soils and crops and wildlife. Dr. Blanton's primary responsibility is to manage such research program and the 12,000 acres operated by the Noble Foundation. In addition to these management responsibilities, Dr. Blanton conducts research in the areas of animal growth and health management with the goal of increasing animal performance, carcass merit and meat quality.
