Agricultural Division Staff: Jagadeesh Mosali
Mosali serves as a staff scientist for the Agricultural Division's Agricultural Research Team. He joined the Noble Foundation in 2004 as a postdoctoral fellow working on variable rate application technology for bermudagrass. Mosali's primary responsibilities include soil fertility research for bermudagrass and bioenergy crops as well as crop variety testing, including variety trials for bermudagrass, oats, rye, ryegrass, sweet sorghum, triticale and wheat. Mosali's current research interests include the long-term N, P and K effects on bermudagrass; N fertility outcomes on sweet sorghum juice quality; effect of legumes in switchgrass stands; variable rate technology in bermudagrass; grazing pressure on switchgrass biomass yields; and crop variety testing. Mosali is a member of the following professional organizations: American Society of Agronomy, Crop Science Society of America, Society for Range Management, Soil Science Society of America, and Soil and Water Conservation Society. He also serves on the Ardmore Tree Board, is on the Membership and Society Identity Committee with the American Society of Agronomy, Crop Science Society of America and Soil Science Society of America. Mosali was born and grew up in south-central India.
